Social Media Strategist
We are seeking a creative and strategic Part-Time Social Media Strategist to lead organic social media efforts for assigned accounts. This role focuses on building meaningful connections with audiences, growing engagement, and driving brand awareness through innovative and data-driven social media strategies. This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling and community building while balancing other commitments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute an organic social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing goals of assigned accounts.
- Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content tailored to each platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and writers to develop compelling multimedia content.
Community Engagement
- Actively manage and engage with the social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Foster relationships with brand advocates, influencers, and partners to amplify reach and engagement.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Provide actionable insights based on data to optimize strategy and meet engagement KPIs.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Brand Consistency & Trends
- Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platform updates to keep the brand innovative and competitive.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with the marketing, creative, and product teams to align social media strategy with broader campaigns.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for content and campaigns.

Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience managing organic social media strategies for brands.

- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools like Sprout Social, Buffer, or Later.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social content.
- Experience with influencer partnerships and community management is a plus.
Compensation
- $35 - $45 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours & Location
- Flexible, part-time schedule averaging 15–25 hours per week.
- This is a remote position available within the USA.
